Commercialization Review for MUSC Discoveries

FRD is hosting a commercialization review team at MUSC on Tuesday, November 17, 2009.  The team has a broad based background including science, patent law, product development, intellectual property valuation, investment, licensing, and technology review. Team members include patent attorneys, scientists, engineers, and business professionals.  All technologies are eligible - devices, diagnostics, therapeutics etc.

You will receive feedback on your discovery and for selected discoveries, an in-depth patent and commercial review.  Highly rated discoveries may also be selected for prototype creation or proof of concept studies.

If you would like to meet with the commercialization review team to discuss an invention, your current research results, or potential industry collaborations relative to your discoveries, please sign up for a 30 minute per discovery session by contacting Lisa Benson at bensonl@musc.edu or 6-1012 to schedule a time.
